Winston Allen Promoted to Safety Manager
NCAT is pleased to announce the promotion of Winston Allen to Safety Manager. Winston has been with NCAT for nearly 13 years, earning recognition for his dedication and positive impact. In his new position, he will oversee safety initiatives across Crawford, Huron, and Seneca counties while helping to advance NCAT’s mission.
NCAT Participates in CTAA Legislative Fly-In
NCAT Executive Director Mary Habig recently attended the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) Legislative Fly-In in Washington, D.C. The event brought transit leaders together to meet with federal policymakers and advocate for policies that strengthen rural and community transportation services. Mary shared insights on the needs of NCAT’s service area, reinforcing the importance of reliable, affordable transit options.
Hailee Somers Promoted to Administrative Assistant
NCAT is pleased to announce the promotion of Hailee Somers to Administrative Assistant. Hailee joined NCAT in 2022 and has consistently taken on new responsibilities, growing from dispatcher to lead dispatcher before stepping into her new role. She will now support administrative operations while continuing to help advance NCAT’s mission.
Connecting Communities with Our New Fostoria-Tiffin Route
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the new route connecting Fostoria and Tiffin, made possible by a grant from the Ohio Department of Transportation. This route will enhance access to work, hospitals, and other essential destinations for residents in both communities.

New Software to Better Serve You
We have successfully implemented the CTS/TripMasters software across Crawford, Huran, and Seneca counties. This user-friendly software will help improve safety and enhance our scheduling efficiency.

NCAT Attends Human Trafficking Awareness Conference
Several NCAT staff members attended a conference aimed at addressing human trafficking. Learn more about this important issue and how we’re playing our part to address it.
Our employee appreciation dinner was held recently, allowing NCAT to celebrate our outstanding staff and drivers. We presented our Employee of the Year award and recognized three other employees for their outstanding service.
In honor of our veterans, we are offering free in-county rides on Friday, May 24. You will still need to schedule your ride at least 48 hours in advance.
